Youth Worker Appreciation Day

Youth Worker Web (YWW), today announced that it will be hosting a series of banquets to promote “Youth Worker Appreciation Day.”  This as part of their campaign to publicize a national day of appreciation for youth workers.  YWW is hosting banquets across the Southeast to honor hard-working youth workers and volunteers.  Seven banquets spanning five states will welcome guests on May 10th for an afternoon of professional presentations a showcase of local youth talent.  

 

These banquets are meant to publicize and acknowledge the hard work of professionals in youth programs of religious and academic institutions.  Many local youth group have prepared muti-media presentations and talent acts in honor of their youth leaders.  Youth are encouraged to get involved in their region’s banquet entertainment.  YWW will welcome all pre-registered guests at 1:00pm on May 10th at each of its seven locations. Banquets will be hosted in Memphis (TN), Nashville (TN), Knoxville (TN), Athens (GA), Birmingham (AL), Durham (NC) and Charleston (SC) by each of YWW’s regional representatives and their youth groups.

 

Each event will have several presentations from local YWW members. YWW is happy to announce that each location will have a keynote speech given by a leading professional in youth ministry, child development or child psychology. Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in a raffle for prizes courtesy of our YWW partners and sponsors.
